Hi! I didn’t go to school today because I had a
sore throat. Luckily, I only had it for
the morning, so it was like a day off.
I still have Sonia's movie. I watched it a million times today. I like it better every time I see it. Harrison Ford is Indiana Jones. He looks just like our neighbor across the road.

This senior boy Sam Barton has been living at Sonia Gallio's house since school started. He's a friend of Sonia's older brother. Sam's parents moved out west last summer but Sam didn’t go
with them because he wanted to finish his senior year here, so the
Gallios are letting him stay at their house for a year.
They found out last night that Sam’s father took a gun
and shot his wife and himself. Sam left to go there this morning on a plane.
His parents are both in critical condition at the hospital.

There was no school yesterday on account of a snow storm. We had a history test today, and a boy in my class took a peek and he says I got a 96. I had to babysit from 5:30 to 10:00 tonight. I got $10.
They finally came out with a hardcover biography of R.E.M. I'm hopefully going to buy it tomorrow. It's $24, but I have a discount card which will allow me to get it for $18. Books sure are getting expensive!

Anyway, Sei and I had great sex...just kidding, but almost. It was the best time. I wish I could go into detail, but what if someone gets ahold of this?

Everyone was at the British pub downtown for Yuko's boyfriend Guy's birthday. We were supposed to go out dancing after. I got all dressed up for that, but by midnight we were still sitting in the restaurant. I think everyone was bored, but no one wanted to take the initiative to go. Finally Sei and I came home. I only had one drink the entire time. I've decided I'm not going to drink more than that anymore.

I have a fever and I can't stop throwing up. I couldn't go to work and I've been in bed all day. I can't eat anything. I hate calling in sick because they always think we've got hangovers.

I forgot to mention yesterday that we went for a drive up Rokko Mountain and I saw my first wild boar. It came right up to the fence. It was bigger than I imagined and had longer fur.
Sei and I are planning to move out of his parents' house in mid-March and I've tried to write up a budget. I know we only have a bit of savings, but I just can't live together any longer. His mother gets drunk really often now.
Mandy asked me to be one of her bridesmaids, but not the Maid of Honor -- that goes to her other friend from high school, but I don't mind. I know I've been away for a long time. Yuko was my Maid of Honor, supposedly. I'll have to save enough money to go to that next year, too.

Evangeline called me. She was at her boyfriend James' apartment, but she had a phone card. She had a funny tale to tell. Her old boyfriend Matt Darkhouse showed up and she ended up watching a video with him and her other ex-boyfriend Marty Tiernan at James' place! Then in one week each of them plus Kevin Block (her first boyfriend) called her and asked for permission to date her sister! Poor thing! Kevin's was actually more of a proposition to have sex -- don't know why he was asking Evangeline. I can't imagine her little sister having sex, even though I know she's the same age I am.

In the beginner's group of about fifteen dogs she placed third and got a ribbon (this was a Japan Kennel Club event). It was interesting but a very long day, since they had to be there before 8:00 to register but our turn didn't come until around 3:30.
